Exciting drawing competition for 4-12 Year-Olds - ideal for before & after school clubs!

🐶 Perfect Pets is a fantastic drawing competition for children in after school clubs. Young Artists invites your budding artists to draw a picture of their perfect pet.

🎨 Children can draw their favourite animal or pet, an animal mash-up, be inspired by mythical creatures, or create something unique from their imagination.

📕 Drawings will be published in the bright, colourful Perfect Pets book series 

You can request as many entry forms as you need for your club using the resources tab on this page - we'll send as many as you need free of charge.

Get your club involved in Perfect Pets today and they could become published artists! There are amazing prizes up for grabs for both schools & children too 😍

Competition Rules

To make sure your entries are valid, please follow the rules listed below:

Closing Date: Friday 1st Nov 2024
  • Only one entry per child, there is no limit to the number of entries per school. Please submit your entries all together where possible!
  • Ask your children to draw their picture, ensuring their name, age and club name are included.
  • Your children's entries must be on a Perfect Pets entry form.
  • Your children's drawings must be their own work!
  • Your children can use pencils, pens, felt-tips, crayons, paints, chalks, pastels, etc to create their picture.
  • Open to children in breakfast / after school / art / holiday clubs and schools.
  • UK entrants only.
  • Free to enter.

For Clubs

£1,000 for the club that sends in the best set of entries!

Plus a WWF animal adoption package for 10 club runners-up

Every club that enters also receives a free copy of the book their kids feature in.

For Pupils

The best drawing in each book will become the front cover and title, and the winning artist in each edition receives a creative goody bag too!

Plus every entrant receives some stickers and children who are invited to be published also receive a Young Artists certificate.
